The Meeting Place

The International Surgical Week ISW 2007 will take place at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, located in the downtown area. Participants will have a chance to enjoy these ultramodern facilities during the Congress.

The Palais des congrès de Montréal has two entrances on Viger Avenue and De Bleury Street. For ISW 2007, please follow the Viger Hall signs.

Audiovisual Services

Highly experienced technicians will handle the audiovisual and technical aspects of the Congress. They will ensure that presentations run smoothly and without disruption. All meeting rooms will be equipped with PowerPoint projection facilities only. The Video presentation room will be equipped additionally with Video projection facility allowing for VHS - PAL, Secam and NTSC formats.

Certificate of Attendance and CME recognition

Certificates of Attendance will be issued upon arrival at the Congress.

Many European National Surgical Societies recognize ISW 2007 for meeting the criteria of 25 CME credit hours. In view of different national CME rating systems, it is strongly recommended to apply for recognition of the credit points by your National Surgical Society well before the Congress.

Welcome Desk

A Welcome Desk will be located at the Montréal-Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau International Airport to assist arriving participants. The desk will be in service on Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26, 2007 during flight schedule.

Exhibition Dates

ISW 2007 will present a major 50,000-square-foot trade show featuring organizations, companies and manufacturers related to clinical and experimental surgery. The Exhibition will be held on site at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from August 27 to 29, 2007 from 9:00 to 17:00.

Congress Language

The official language of the International Surgical Week ISW 2007 is English. No simultaneous translation is planned.

Official Letters of Invitation

Official letters of invitation for visa applications can be sent to participants by the Congress Secretariat ISW 2007 upon written request at isw2007@opus3.com. These letters do not commit the Congress Organizers* to any financial obligation.
